A Handy Little Hint ...

Our hands are often the most forgotten and neglected parts of our body when it comes to our beauty regime so the Style Palace Princesses have been making a conscious effort to give our over-worked and under-loved hands the time and attention they deserve.

If you really want to give your hands a special treat, rehydrate them with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and use it as a hand cream each night. This is a tip from Aerin Lauder, granddaughter of the legendary Estee Lauder. It is not a cheap solution but your hands will be smooth and supple in no time!

It is also important to remember that your hands are just as susceptible to sun damage as any other part of your body so be sure to use sunscreen on your hands every day, especially if you are spending lots of time driving in the car with your hands on the wheel.

Style Palace can recommend Invisible Zinc for extra SPF30+ protection and Elle MacPherson is the face of this popular brand which provides a range of suncare products to suit your lifestyle.
So next time you are reaching for the lotions and potions, don’t forget to include your hands in your beauty routine. It is a great piece of advice that you will really come to appreciate later in life when you still have the hands of a 20 year old!

Melbourne’s own Milliner, Estelle Annabel, to showcase at La Geneve North’s ‘A La Mode’ show in London.

Melbourne-based milliner, Estelle Annabel is soon to be catching the eye of the British as she showcases in London as part of the LGN Events off-schedule London Fashion Week show.

Estelle, known for her millinery masterpieces which fuse vintage and modern styles, will debut in London on Friday 19 Feb 2010 as part of the international showcase ‘A La Mode.’

It was Estelle’s attention to detail that caught the eye of Australian press at the Melbourne Cup, as well as the judges of “Fashions on the Field,” who have now seen Estelle as a finalist, no less than 7 times.

Estelle Annabel’s millinery creations will be shown on the catwalk, alongside her clothing collection designed to accentuate the female form. Her looks are sure to be a hit with those heading to the races next season. Guests of fashion industry, press, and members of luxury concierge services will no doubt be lining up to meet the great lady herself after the show to place their orders.

Estelle Annabel is definitely the milliner to watch this fashion week.

SP Princesses on Holiday

The Palace Princesses have all been on a well deserved break so apologies that there haven't been any blog posts this week. Princess Jodie has been visiting the lush countryside of Dunsborough in the south of WA. Princess Lisa is in tropical Cairns and Princess Darlene is in beautiful Bali where this blog is being posted from.

I decided to write a post because I have been wearing my favourite Camilla pieces out and about in Bali which has created loads of interest. Until I started wearing Camilla here I didn't realise how perfect the designs are for a summer holiday. They are so comfortable and cool with a little hint of glamour - I'm feeling like a real Princess! Below are a few pics of me wearing Camilla in Bali (and yes, they were calling me a show pony - but that is what wearing Camilla does to you!!) The Mini Peasant Dress was a hit on NYE!

We are all back on deck next Monday - ready for another exciting year! Stay tuned to what's happening at The Palace in 2010!
